Natalie Pieper
Sixth Grade and Middle School Science/STEM 952-473-5356 x332

Redeemer families and students,

It is with great joy and excitement that I have accepted the call to teach 6th grade at Redeemer Christian Academy next school year. God has made it clear in His calling by opening doors that are leading me to move back to Minnesota. I am confident that He will bless this transition and am looking forward to this new journey in my ministry with you all!

Redeemer is the school I attended from Preschool through 8th grade. These years of education were formative for my faith development and where I first knew I wanted to be a Lutheran school teacher. It has always been a dream of mine to be on staff and give back to the place that gave so much to me in my early years.

While attending Concordia University, St. Paul for my college education, I followed God’s calling to be a Lutheran school teacher. I graduated with a Lutheran teaching certification with a minor in math and received my first job at Messiah Lutheran School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I am finishing my fourth year of teaching here as both the 3rd/4th grade combination teacher as well as teaching 3rd grade alone. Moving to a new state where I knew nobody was a leap of faith, and it has been a very rewarding four years. Forming new relationships and exploring a new place has been quite the adventure.

I also spent six years serving at Camp Lone Star in LaGrange, Texas over the summer months. During my years there, I coordinated the program to teach high school volunteers how to mentor middle school students. I have a great passion for working with middle school and high school students. I am looking forward to transferring this passion into a classroom setting.

Aside from teaching, I have a wide variety of interests and activities. I played on many sport teams (can you name the sports?) growing up and have completed five marathons. I love singing in choir or on a stage for theater productions. I’ve also spent many weekend or school breaks traveling around the country to visit family and friends that live all over. My family is very important to me, and moving back to Minnesota will bring me closer to them again.

I am very excited to meet all of you. I pray for a wonderful end to your school year as well as a fun and relaxing summer vacation!

God’s Peace,
Miss Natalie Pieper
