Help Need for Redeemer Funfest Carnival

Your help is needed to make the 2018 edition of the Redeemer Funfest Carnival a success. We’ll be hosting our annual Funfest Carnival on Friday, January 26 from 5:30-8 p.m. If you have never experienced the Redeemer Funfest Carnival, this event cannot be missed! What a great evening of fun, fellowship, and fundraising for our school. The evening will include games (cake walk, crazy hair, teacher’s pet, treasure chest, pop bottle ring toss and many more), inflatables, prizes, and food. We’ll have pizza and hotdog meal deals, so plan to come for dinner!

FunFest Help Needed - We’re looking for help from parents to make this event an even bigger success. Please take a look at the list of opportunities below and see where you can help. If you have any questions, please contact the school office or Kim Kallerup (Kimberly.kallerup@bestbuy.com).

Spread the Word - Send the attached flyer with friends, family, neighborhood associations, etc. to invite them to our event! Print out copies and hang them at your church, local library, coffee shop and grocery stores. Email Mrs. Wiebold in the office (lwiebold@redeemerwayzata.org) or Paula Burkle (jpburkle77@gmail.com) for information on the event that you can email to your church office for inclusion in newsletters and church bulletins.

•Work at the Event – Looking for service hours? We need 75 volunteers to make this event happen! You can sign up at www.SignUpGenius.com/go/10C0C44A4AE2FA2FE3-funfest2. If you have questions, please contact Eric Jensen (eric.mj@comcast.net).
•Donate – We’ll need cakes, pop, and prizes for the event. We’d like all donations brought to the stage of the school auditorium by Friday morning, January 26.
•Prize Donations - If you have any prize donations to submit, we are happy to use them for several games.Items such as party favors, bags of candy, gift cards, any other small carnival prizes you can think of. Please drop off with Stacy in the office. Thank you!
•K-5th Grade Student Families - Please bring 1 or 2 cakes or a dozen cupcakes (store bought) for the cake walk.
•6th - 8th Grade Student Families - Please bring two 2-liter bottles per student for the pop bottle ring toss.

FunFest Early Ticket Sales - Pre-selling is Friday, January 26, from 8 - 8:30 a.m. We are asking Redeemer families to consider purchasing to reduce lines. Pre-sale will be available increments of 25 tickets and can be paid for by check or your auto-pay account. For every set of pre-sale tickets purchased, you’ll be entered into a drawing for 10 free tickets. Mrs. Wiebold will draw 3 winners on Friday morning, so buy early! New this year, we will be offering a wristband-ticket option which will allow your child to unlimited access to experience the inflatable activities (please note other carnival stations will still require tickets). •50 tickets = $30

•75 tickets = $45

•100 tickets = $60

Bring a Friend - For every non-Redeemer student (grades preschool through seventh grade) you bring to the Funfest, you and your friend will each receive 5 free tickets that evening! This is a wonderful opportunity to bring other families to our school and see all we have to offer!
