When the ESC position became available during the fall of 2005, she thought it would be a great opportunity to use her elementary education degree and her creativity to make ESC a place that children would love to come to. She feels that children need a comfortable and somewhat unstructured place to be after sitting in school all day. Children have the choice of doing crafts, building with many construction sets, or playing with toys or games. Time for homework is given every day, as well as activity time outside and/or in the gym. Mrs. Soeldner likes to have her room be bright, cheerful, and filled with all kinds of interesting and fun things to do for all ages. Besides being involved with the school, her hobbies are scrapbooking, traveling, and spending time at home.
